EcoProducts gets bigger!

It’s been a big move!  For years, EcoProducts has operated on premises very near to where I live and while that’s been convenient for me,  we’ve been growing so much that I finally had to recognise the time had come for us to move to larger factory premises.  It took many months of preparation but finally we were operational in our new premises mid-May this year  and we had our official opening on the evening of the 19th June – we’re not shy to find reasons to have to a celebratory party!

I invited all the people who have helped me and EcoProducts get to where we are today and it was really an event to say a big THANK YOU to them for their unwavering support over the years. The event was by all accounts, hugely successful! We made a variety of snacks all made with Baobab powder such as Baobab chicken pieces, vegetables with a Bao-Mayo dip, Baobab Jam and Baobab cheese cake.

I gave every one a tour of the factory, showing them our powder processing unit and the oil pressing unit.

Here you can see the main entrance,  baobab bulk powder ready for shipment, and the baobab powder processing rooms and lab area.

And during the event, we planted two baobab trees outside the main entrance.

We’re incredibly happy in our new premises – it’s fantastic to have all the extra space and great facilities for over 50 staff!

There’s a lot of controversy about where the Baobab tree originated  as it’s often been assumed that Madagascar is the centre of origin because it has the most different species. Baby giants reaching for the sky

The Baobab Guardians’ trees were measured in April 2021 and many of the trees grew over one meter of lush green shoots in just six months.
